New blog online about what exactly is happening with the video for Living the Wasted Life.
We’re happy to announce we’ve been invited to this years’ Summer of Darkness festival in Utrecht, NL. This will be our first time performing at this festival, and we are very excited to return to Dutch soil.
The new Hocico single “Dog Eat Dog” features a remix by Aesthetic Perfection and will be released on June 25, 2010 through our friends at Out of Line.
A number of other remixes are in the pipeline. Naturally being worked on alongside the new record, which is still steadily progressing.
The new Aesthetic Perfection record “All Beauty Destroyed” is on it’s way. Work began over a year ago and the album is finally taking it’s form. No release date set as of yet but keep your eyes peeled, it might be sooner than you think.
To document the final phases of finishing a record, Daniel Graves has started a web blog, accessible by clicking the link of the same name on the left side of the screen you’re looking at now. We have deleted the Livejournal and will continue to try and streamline the experience here at www.aesthetic-perfection.net. For now, head on over to the blog and see what’s going on.
Last minute announcement. Aesthetic Perfection will be performing a single, one off, exclusive US show at Club Stimulate in NYC on May 8th. With special guest DJ Chris Vrenna, this is looking to be one hell of an evening!

Our newest partner, the Japanese record label Deathwatch Asia has been working closely with us to prepare a very special limited edition release of A Violent Emotion for the Asian market. To be released this January, this expanded version contains an 8 panel digipak with additional artwork not included on the US release. Also includes remixes by Grendel, DJ Taiki plus the Schadenfreude remix contest winners Menschdefekt and Animassacre.

It may sound a bit strange, and hell, it does to me, too, but I am now officially available as a DJ. After so much touring, and being exposed to many different styles of music, I felt compelled to get out and share it with the world. Like a mad scientist, I’ve locked myself away and tediously, meticulously learned the tools of the DJ trade. Now, I’ve emerged semi conscious, a little less sane, but nonetheless qualified to get it going.
